Jodi Zigelstein-Yip, CHRP, CHRL, Chief HR Innovator/Founder

Jodi Zigelstein-Yip is a twenty-one (21) year leader and veteran in the HR community and is the Chief HR Innovator and Founder of Enliven HR Consulting Inc. Jodi plays a major role in her client’s businesses by delivering innovative, sustainable and strategic HR programs and solutions designed to unleash leadership and employee potential, drive performance, increase organizational effectiveness and steer business results.

Her expertise is in the creation of unique leadership, talent and high-potential development programs, employee engagement and employee experience initiatives, organizational transformation and HR strategy, executive coaching, compensation programs, succession planning and talent assessment programs.

Jodi engages small, medium and large local, national and multi-national clients in a variety of industries. Jodi’s experience comes from both working with clients for more than half her career as well as in Human Resources in the corporate world.

Jodi is a seasoned and dynamic facilitator, recognized by the Institute for Performance and Learning for the design and facilitation of a multi-faceted leadership development program.

Jodi has been featured in the HR Professional Magazine, Canadian Employment Law Today, the National Post and the Globe and Mail. Jodi runs the Transforming Managers into Leaders Program at HRPA, which is an online certificate program for leaders. Jodi is often asked to facilitate programs through the HRPA including the Authentic Coaching Leader Program.

Jodi was also the President of the HRPA York Region Chapter from 2011 – 2015 and was a member of the Board of Directors for over ten (10) years. During her term as President, the Chapter was awarded eleven (11) Chapter of Excellence Awards.


Karen Pastakia, Partner, Human Capital

Karen Pastakia is a Partner in our Consulting business and leads Human Capital Consulting business in Toronto. She works with organizations to ensure there is alignment and integration between the overall business strategy and the organization’s HR and talent agendas.

Currently Karen’s work is focused on the development of strategies to support enterprise talent management, as well as specific strategies in the areas of talent acquisition, development and learning, performance, and succession.

Karen is also our GTA Inclusion leader and sits on our Toronto Executive Team.

Karen frequently speaks at conferences and association events on the topics of talent management, the multi-generational workforce and leadership. She has also published several points of view on the future workforce, mostly recently our 2017 HC trends report

Prior to joining Human Capital, she was an experienced HR Business Partner based in London, UK and Canada


Catherine Parsons Dhamija

Catherine Parsons Dhamija is a Human Capital Partner at Deloitte Canada and leads the South West Ontario region for Deloitte Ontario. She serves the market by strengthening client connections across the corridor, and bringing the full breadth of Deloitte to our clients, from Tax, Accounting and Audit work to Financial Advisory, Risk and Consulting services (Technology, Strategy, Operations, Human Capital).

She has worked across all sizes of clients and industries, both private and public but, she spends the majority of her time these days in the Mid-Market and Private company space.


Erin Kuzz, Founding Member, Employment Labour Lawyer at Sherrad Kuzz

Erin Kuzz is one of the founding members of Sherrard Kuzz in Toronto, Canada where she represents employers in all areas of employment and labour law. Erin has been recognized by Lexpert®, Chambers Global®, Who’s Who Legal® and Best Lawyers® as one of Canada’s leading employment and labour lawyers. Having practised labour and employment law for more than 20 years, she has earned a reputation for practical, results-oriented advice.

Erin is a Past Chair of the Labour and Employment Section of the Ontario Bar Association and was a member of the Human Resource Committee for the Toronto 2015 Pan/Para Pan Am Games. She is also a member of the prestigious College of Labour and Employment Lawyers. Erin is widely published, has written extensively about a number of different labour and employment issues and is contacted frequently by media for comments on current labour or employment matters. She has also taught labour relations issues at both York University and University of Toronto.
