The business case is there: Hiring people with disabilities means tapping into an underutilized market of valuable talent. Research shows that people with disabilities have higher retention rates, better attendance, better safety records and are creative, dedicated workers.
So how can HR leverage this talent? This webinar will introduce employers and HR professionals to the Abilities Connect Fund. The Abilities Connect Fund provides financial assistance to employers to create experiential learning employment opportunities for persons with a disability. Preference will be given to applicants that hire students or recent graduates with a disability. The fund also helps to remove financial barriers associated with accommodating employees with disabilities in the workplace.
