Ozlem Yucel

Employment Lawyer, Ozlem Yucel offers a rare expertise to her clients. Having previously worked at the Ontario Ministry of Labour, she has in-depth knowledge of employment and occupational health and safety law, from the government’s perspective. It is her experience dealing with cases on behalf of government, on the other side of the table, that allows her to strategically advise her clients on workplace legal matters.

Ozlem has also worked at the Ontario Labour Relations Board, where she assisted Vice Chairs in making difficult decisions in employment, labour, and occupational health and safety matters. It is Ozlem’s experience working closely with these decision-makers that provides her with valuable insight on how to best pitch and win a case.

As a firm believer of empowering her clients, Ozlem spent her final year of law school working with low-income clients at Parkdale Community Legal Services. She obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she won several awards, and became licensed to practice law in 2014. Ozlem holds a B.A. Honours (International Relations and Political Science) from the University of Toronto and graduated with distinction.

Ozlem has also worked at the United Nations Development Program and the G8/G20 Summits in Italy and Toronto. She is fluent in Turkish and conversational in French.
