Tanya Bell, Senior Manager Citizenship Engagement Programs

Tanya Bell is the Senior Manager Citizenship Engagement Programs for RBC, with responsibility for strategy, developing and managing programs affecting almost 80,000 employees globally. She has been recognized by RBC as an outstanding leader and brings tenure to her position having held similar senior employee engagement and corporate social responsibility roles at Union Gas and TD. Identifying features of her experience to date include her encouragement of cross-platform collaboration and understanding both the business, socio-economic and community impacts. With well over a decade of managerial experience with top Fortune/Global 500 companies, Tanya is now able to share her acquired knowledge through consulting small/medium enterprises through the growth phase. Tanya was named co-chair for the Corporate Council on Volunteering (CCOV) at Volunteer Canada and sits on the steering committee of the Global Corporate Council on Volunteering (GCVC) for the International Associate for Volunteer Effort. As part of the GCVC, she is an active participant in their global disaster relief research working group.


Sarah Cobourn, Director of Corporate Responsibility

As Director of Corporate Responsibility, Sarah Cobourn oversees the corporate responsibility strategy for the firm across Canada and Chile. As a part of this role, she manages employee and community engagement through the pro bono work and skills-based volunteering and has oversight of the Deloitte Foundation. Prior to joining Deloitte, Sarah worked in corporate responsibility both in-house and as a consultant across the US and Australia. Sarah has a PhD in Corporate Responsibility and actively teaches both undergrad and MBA courses in social impact and sustainability.


Elizabeth Dove, Director, Corporate Citizenship

Elizabeth is the Director, Corporate Citizenship at Volunteer Canada where she convenes the national Corporate Council of Volunteering and consults with companies and non-profits nationally on employer-supported volunteering strategies for impact on community, talent and business. She also convenes the Canopy, a leadership group of Canadian organizations that work to build the corporate responsibility capacity of companies. A tri-sector leader, Elizabeth specializes in social and environmental impact strategies that engage businesses, non-profit organizations and governments. She has worked as senior staff and consultant on advancing a wide range of issues: health, empowerment of women and youth, the arts and international development. Passionate about the power of collaboration, she focuses on bringing together actors from different sectors to create value for their organizations and the broader community.


Estela Vazquez Perez, Director, Global Employment Brand

Estela Vazquez Perez is adviser to companies on Employer of Choice Reputation Management, Brand and Employment Value Propositions, and Employee Experience Design to attract and retain the right talent for today and the future of work. Her main outcome is to develop opportunity to increase profitability with engaged talent.

Estela has a multidisciplinary background that allows her to orchestrate value propositions, design and technologies into marketing brands that seek precise execution to inspire with relevancy. She is known for relentlessly challenging the status-quo to advance the workplace.

Her work increases visibility of Human Resources as a leader of change with a vision. Before joining RBC, Estela led Scotiabank’s Global Employment Brand through change management that integrated 55 countries in multiple languages under one employment brand essence and its ideals. Her work contributed to engage countries into achieving the desirable Global Best Workplaces award. She also managed Global Recruitment Marketing and its creative application in Spanish, French and English Markets building a voice and representation of employees as brand ambassadors.
