Join HRPA and Mary Ann Baynton, Program Director, Great-West Life Centre for Mental Health in the Workplace for a complimentary webinar on Supporting Employee Success—a mental health accommodation tool that helps employee, employer and health professional choose solutions that enable employees to do their job, even while experiencing a mental illness such as depression or anxiety. This resource provides strategies that help balance productivity with psychological well-being for the employee.

Learning objectives:

<  Plan for successful accommodation when mental health is a factor

<  Evaluate the job and task expectations of the individual employee, and consider them in relation to specific workplace factors that may have an impact on the psychological well-being of the employee

<  Help the employee identify work-related triggers for emotional or cognitive issues

<  Identify organizational supports

<  Ask questions that can facilitate the employee’s commitment to their own success at work

<  Facilitate the employee’s well-being while meeting the requirement for a safe and productive workplace.

At this webinar, participants will be provided with a link to try out the tool in their own workplace. In June of this year we will be compiling all feedback and making improvements to the resource. In addition to learning about approaches to accommodation, this is your chance to contribute to making an amazing tool even better!

Who should attend:

HR managers and/or those who may be involved in planning for accommodation when mental health is a factor.
