Your employees' minimum legal entitlements are prescribed by the Employment Standards Act, 2000 ("ESA"), which makes it an important piece of legislation for HR professionals to understand.

The ESA underwent substantial changes with Bill 148 this past year – and now it is facing even more with Bill 47, which could take effect January 2019.

What changes previously made to the ESA under Bill 148 will be repealed, maintained and changed with Bill 47?  What do the changes mean for employers and what should they do in the intervening period?

This webcast is designed to provide attendees an overview of the ESA and its recent and proposed changes, as well as practical tips on how to navigate this changing time.

Learning objectives:

  • Learn about employment standards legislation
  • Understand the recent and proposed changes to the Employment Standards Act, 2000
  • Gain strategies and practical tips on how to handle these changes

Who should attend?

HR professionals who want to understand employment standards legislation and get ahead of the changes to the ESA.
