Mary Ann Baynton

Mary Ann Baynton is the MSW, RSW, the Program Director of the Great-West Life Centre for Mental Health in the Workplace, which provides free and credible resources to employers who wish to address or improve workplace mental health.
She is also the principal of Mary Ann Baynton & Associates Consulting, which provides training and consulting to employers as well as all levels of government, and many organizations, unions, associations and institutions across the country.
Mary Ann's expertise is in management approaches that support the healthy productivity of employees with mental health issues such as depression or anxiety. Her work includes individual return-to-work consulting, broad-based training and awareness initiatives, as well as implementation of workplace strategies to improve mental health, morale and motivation for employees with mental health issues.
Mary Ann’s latest venture is Mindful Employer Canada which supports organizations and managers who support positive workplace mental health.
