Speaker bio(s)
Derek Morgan, Regional Consultant

Prior to the creation of PSHSA in 2010, Derek was a consultant with the former Ontario Safety Association for Community and Healthcare (OSACH) for three years in the regions of Halton and Peel. Derek has a background is Ergonomics and musculoskeletal injury prevention. He holds an undergraduate degree fromWilfrid Laurier University in Kinesiology & Physical Education and a Masters Degree in Human Kinetics, with a specialization in Ergonomics, from the University of Windsor. Derek has been providing general consulting services in the area of health and safety since 2009. Derek provides services in the Region of Waterloo as well as the communities of Brantford-Brant and Haldimand-Norfolk. Outside of PSHSA, Derek is a part-time lecturer at the University of Waterloo in the Human Resources Management Program where he teaches Occupational Health & Safety.
