This full day seminar will focus on HR Metrics (a.m.) and Succession Planning (p.m.)

Both sessions will cover an overview of the topic and strategies to implement in the workplace for successful HR and business integration.

Speaker bio(s)
Ashley Bennington, CHRL, Professor

Ashley Bennington is a Professor of Human Resources in the Pilon School of Business at Sheridan College, and also works part time as a senior advisor, specializing in HR metrics, at The CGI Group
He developed Canada’s first post-secondary course in HR metrics.
Ashley was an Adjunct Professor of Business at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC, and worked in HR metrics roles for BC Hydro and Fraser Health.
Ashley was previously a member of the BC HR Management Association, and was a recipient of their 2007 Rising Star Award and 2009 Award of Excellence – Innovation.
He has been a CHRP since 2006.


Alan Ward, President

Alan Ward is the President and founder of IF Enterprises Inc., an organization dedicated to the power of possibility.
Alan has lived the HR experience for over 20 years with 15 of those years, as Vice President, Human Resources with Staples Canada. He believes that HR must be increasingly be fuelled by a persistent curiosity and a readiness to take some risk if it is to remain relevant.
Alan has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from McGill University and an MBA from Western.
