Speaker bio(s)
Nick Montesano

Nick has a long history with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, starting out as an adjudicator handling both initial entitlement and ongoing benefits caseloads. In 1994, Nick started working as a WSIB consultant and handled all levels of claims management including: Return to Work, Re-employment, Future/Non Economic Loss, Recurrences, Amalgamations, Transfer of Cost, SIEF, LMR and CPD. Since 1994, Nick has handled hundreds of appeals at various jurisdictions across Canada and has been able to achieve a high level of success.

Nick has created and implemented Return to Work Programs for several employers and has been instrumental in training clients when new programs are introduced. Nick has extensive knowledge of both NEER and CAD-7—the WSIB's main experience rating systems.
