Peel: 11.02.16 Translating Business and HR trends into Actions - Total Rewards and Employee Value Proposition: Modernize or Risk Irrelevance

Many companies are experiencing unprecedented amount of change – factors ranging from new business models, shifting supply and demand of talent, and emerging technology. Leveraging Willis Towers Watson’s research, the session will examine future of work and employer/employee views on challenges, trends and best practices tied to their human capital strategies and programs. The session will cover key global findings and help translate them into call to action for today’s organizations – it’s time to modernize their Total Rewards strategies and programs to remain relevant and drive performance. Organizations must also revisit their Employee Value Propositions (EVP) - what is offered by the employer in exchange for the productivity and performance of an employee. Success in the new world of work requires a rethinking of the employer-employee relationship. We will delve into the elements that employers can leverage to deliver a more modern and meaningful experience including:
• Effective Leaders
• Work, Stress and Wellness
• Performance Management
• Total Rewards
Through series of exercises, the interactive session will allow participants to exchange ideas and to jump start the planning process for their organization.

Participants will develop an understanding of the:
• business and HR trends impacting Total Rewards and Employee Value Propositions
• insights into drivers of attraction and retention
• factors that are forcing changes in HR strategies and programs
• evolving view of what it means to be an effective leader
• need to re-define performance management and pay for performance
• evolving nature of total rewards programs in a changing landscape
