The world has changed dramatically over the last few years, and so has the workplace; there has been a fundamental reassessment of the role of work in our lives, and with that we have a host of new issues to address. That includes:
- remote and hybrid workforces,
- monitoring employee productivity,
- health and safety, and
- jurisdictional issues.
At the same time, we have seen extensive developments in both legislation and common law, and we will review what you need to know. Among other things, the law of dismissals has continued to evolve, and we will help you understand why most termination clauses are unenforceable and why post-termination compensation is such an important issue.
As always, Stuart’s annual employment law update will be full of practical tips and with two full hours, there should be time to answer your pressing questions.
