MentorCity; Mentorship Prgram

The purpose of the Community Mentoring Program is to provide members with the opportunity to receive one-on-one coaching from experienced human resources professionals who can assist in the development of their skills, knowledge and experience while enhancing their overall professional development.

The objectives of the Community Mentoring Program are to:

• facilitate the matching of mentors and mentees according to their profile and specific, self-identified coaching needs and professional goals;

• support the mentoring relationships by providing participants with a program orientation, networking events and resource materials to assist with the mentoring relationship;

• enhance the overall knowledge for both the mentee and mentor;

• ensure the Mentoring Program adheres to the Vision, Mission and Values of the community chapters

• Requires pairs to commit to a minimum of 1 hour per month of mentorship

Members of the Durham Chapter in good standing with the HRPA may participate in the Mentoring Program. Enrollment is always open so you may join at any time.
