Toronto: 07.18.16 Senior ENG

The Toronto Chapter - HRPA will hold the next meeting of The Employment Networking Group (ENG) for members in transition on Monday, July 18, 2016. There will be two meetings - one from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM for senior members in transition (10+ years of experience) and the second meeting from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM for junior to intermediate members (0-9 years of experience). Meetings are held at the HRPA offices at 150 Bloor Street West, Suite 200 (corner of Avenue Road and Bloor St) in Toronto and are facilitated by Arlene Yam Fritz. 

If you are in career transition, not currently employed and actively searching for work, you may register via the links provided. Volunteer speakers and experts from the business community present to both groups and speak on a variety of topics related to job search in the current environment. If you would like to suggest a potential guest speaker (including yourself) please email torontomembership@hrpa.ca. There will be 2-3 times per year when both groups will meet together to network, learn and coach.

About the presenter: Arlene Yam Fritz

Arlene is an accomplished Senior Human Resources Leader with extensive and diverse experience in Human Resources and Operations Management, working with organizations in healthcare, logistics, postal and courier services. 

A customer-centric HR business partner and experienced business leader with a Lean Six Sigma background, she has been successful in mentoring and coaching leaders, talent management, HR/business transformation, employee engagement and building high performance teams to achieve business objectives. Arlene most recently worked as VP, People and Clinical Support Services at Joseph Brant Hospital, where she led organizational human resources strategies and was responsible for the HR function and clinical support operations.  Prior to this, she worked with a national Crown corporation, Canada Post, where she held progressive leadership roles, including Regional Director, Human Resources for GTA Operations; Director, GTA Central Delivery and Retail Operations; and Regional Advisor, Process Excellence-GTA. 

With a positive approach, Arlene’s passion is coaching and enabling leaders to achieve their objectives. She is passionate about helping others in their transition journey through support, coaching and leveraging of her own experiences.

Arlene holds a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Certificate in the Advanced Program in Human Resources Management from Rotman School of Management. She is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation.
