Helen Wang, Vice-President, IT Lean Program for the Information Technology & Service group of Scotiabank

Helen Wang is the Vice-President, IT Lean Program for the Information Technology & Service group of Scotiabank. She is a tech executive with big ideas and she’s going to share them with you at the Change Leadership Conference. We are excited to welcome her to our guest panel of speakers! She is a Change Management executive with over 18 years of experience with a diversified portfolio banking and finance assets, responsible for delivering and sustaining a strategic change program across all IT departments of her organization. With focus on operating model redesign, she leverages her Lean methodology to innovate her teams, processes and corporation. She also, led a similar program at Global Wholesale Operations Group, was the Deputy Head of Global Analytics and Financial Engineering for Global Banking and Market where she led numerous high complexity and high priority initiatives including technology implementation, new business development, and acquisition. These positions required a high level of due diligence, integration and regulatory response. Helen holds a MBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada as well as CFA and PMP designations.

Laura Fisher is the Vice President, Human Resources Shared Services, RBC responsible for the leadership and strategic direction Human Resource Shared Services globally. She leads a team of over 400 HR Shared Service professionals across North America, the British Isles, Luxembourg, the Caribbean, Hong Kong and Singapore. Laura has held roles and led teams across multiple domestic and international geographies serving clients across multiple channels. 
Laura thrives with each new challenge, learning about different parts of the organization, pushing her self and those she leads out of their comfort zone. Her career has given her experience working at every level of industry from retail banking to corporate and she looks to continue expanding the reach of her organization. Laura is a Marketing Major from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.


Gail Severini, Vice President at Holt Renfrew

Gail A. Severini is Vice President at Holt Renfrew, responsible for Change Management. A Queen's University grad with certifications in Change Management, she has worked with global organizations, including: RSA Canada, Manulife Financial-John Hancock, Royal Bank of Canada, CIBC, Trillium Health Centre, Canadian Blood Services and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Gail also works with organizations to build transformation capability. This includes mindsets, structures, processes, methodologies and skills.
