This seminar provides a practical understanding on the power of organizational culture. Using industry examples, social-cultural comparisons and formal theory, participants will learn how culture can help (or hinder) organizational change efforts. A working session will be facilitated where attendees will learn to ‘identify’ their organization’s dominant culture and diagnose critical areas they might consider for any change initiative.

Learning objectives:

<  Understand the power of organizational culture and how it affects organizational change through the use of research models, theory and group storytelling

<  Learn to identify an organization’s dominant culture profile

<  Develop 1-2 new change approaches based on the current culture which can be applied post-session

<  Participate in a roundtable discussion to share proposed initiatives and enhance through group feedback
